Got my Hornady LNL from midsouth. Check em out.
I have went back and forth if I want Hornady or Dillon. I think both are great presses, but for some reason that I'm leaning towards blue right now. I do like midsouth and have given them business in the past.
I've been looking but all I seem to see is new ones from different dealers, but I'll keep looking.

I'm new to the game so I dont have a frame of reference with the Dillon. I have no issues with the LNL as I've used it thus far (see my reloading thread). I'm waiting for some die parts to come in Thursday and should be making actual rounds by the weekend. What's it's done so far has been fine. I know I got it complete for something like $389.00 at Midsouth, which was the cheapest I found at the time. I played with the auto powder drop and it seems very consistant, at least with the two scales I have.
I wish I could remember the guy on you tube that is all about those presses. He has a few good setup and tuning videos. I watched them when I was deciding between the 2 presses. The Hornady seems like a good press, a little finicky but I think all progressive ones are. One thing I really don't like about Hornday is the retaining spring, I like the Dillon pins better. Another dislike but can be an advantage depending on your outlook is the bushing system vs. tool head. The tool head is more expensive but is set for life. The bushing system has more of a chance to come loose with swaps. This is probably a very mute issue but it is a difference.

The problem with dillion is out here only one place sells dillion stuff and they only have the basics. Everything else is mail order and wait where there are several places that stock Hornady stuff locally.
Just a matter choice and personal preferences. Either way you will have a bunch of green backs invested.
It all takes time & money to get there. When my grandson gets a little bigger I will.need to go.with a progressive press to keep up with his use of ammo. I'm loading a couple hundred rounds a week.of 38spl, 357mag and 44spl for him. When I do switch I will be going red.
Either blue or red they both have great customer service.

There's actually not much around my way for Hornady support either, but I agree it's worthy of consideration.

Cabelas is around 8 miles from the house. Since bass pro took them over they SUCK.
I hardly ever buy stuff there anymore. They have Hornady and rcbs stuff but only one piece at a time. When I was buying the Hornady bushings they wouldn't order me a half dozen of the six packs. I went else where for them. I wasn't waiting for one six pack of bushings a week when they get their reloading shipment in.
It sure does cost enough to get where you want. To be in the loading game.

There is a guy out here down in Olympia that dabbles in used reloading stuff that has a dillion 550 and accessories. One of his friends upgraded to a 650. I can give you his number and you can see if he has anything you need.

I just compared the 2 presses new from the site where I would probably buy them. It appears to be around $100 difference between the 2 (with case feeder).

Friend has 650 and it runs so smooth with hardly ever a hiccup. If it does break something Dillon just sends the part. No questions asked.
I’ve had to call Hornady multiple times. Every time they make me feel it’s all my fault and I should pay for the part. They will finally give it to no charge but you have to fight a little.

I never had an issue with Hornady, RCBS and Ruger on warranty stuff.
Thompson Center use to be excellent until Smith & Wesson took them over. Once Smith took them over their customer service shit to bed.

It seems like that's the common response I see online. That's why I was leaning towards blue. A lot of people claim once you have the Hornady tuned up they will run as well as a Dillon.

I do have mine running good now. But it took to long
I was rethinking the choice of a Dillon over the Hornady but now after running the numbers and GTN's response I'm more sure that's what I'm going to go with.

For the people running 650's or the Hornady's and thought's about using my current set of RCBS dies? Should I buy another seater tapper crimp die so I can do that in 2 different stages?
