So basically the bottom line is, the law in any given state is so ridiculously convoluted that you’re fucked any way that you look at it. It seems as though it is no longer , innocent until proven guilty.

Got this advice years ago from an attorney friend of mine. Here in NY you will be guilty unless proven innocent by a mountain of evidence. Given the lengths a DA will go for a conviction and the political winds, people need to pay attention to the way they carry themselves. Many here should take note. Be the gray man.
