Well, the CZ-82 is so sophisticated and unusual the ATF declared it an exception to the C&R fifty year mandate.

They typically date from the eighties, and have been C&R legit for at least a decade already.

I didn't know that. But jump on it then! I'm sure it will be gtg.

According to Wikipedia, they were manufactured up until 1992, and were declared a C&R in 2007.

That's FIFTEEN YEARS, not the usual 50.

Mak's are tough to C&R, as many are fifty years old, and many are not. And out-of-state dealers typically don't have the time, nor will, to select by date.

If the gun was made 49 years and 11 months ago its not a C&R, if it was made 50 years ago its C&R

Has nothing to do with what years it was produced until

Just like you can find colt Ar/M16 that are now C&R guns

Where exactly does it say that a lets say 1991 production cz 82 is a C&R
