I'm still waiting for insurance to be required for bicyclists (both assisted pedal and conventional) to be allowed to ride on the streets. I keep hearing that it might be a possibility.

Bi-phsyco`s want us to share the road, then they should pay for the cost`s, too. No free rides!I'm still waiting for insurance to be required for bicyclists (both assisted pedal and conventional) to be allowed to ride on the streets. I keep hearing that it might be a possibility.
True story. And raising the bars for law abiding citizens to have to reach.Just a stray thought.
It really is all about Gun Registration.
That's ALL it's about: The State is compiling a Data Base of Gun owners, what they have bought (within NYS) and how much...Since the registration of AW failed, and the Handgun registration by the NYSP was such a cluster fuck, they drew a line in the sand and went from there.Just a stray thought.

…..and receiving revenue for a free service. "Registration ALWAYS leads to confiscation.".
Regarding muzzleloaders, no. The FBI does not perform the background check. What was it provided for free buy the FBI?
True, when NY FFL's contacted the FBI's NICS System in Atlanta, GA it cost them nothing to do so, but now NYS is pseudo-conducting the checks, but they are using Tyler Technologies out of Austin Texas to process the NICS checks, and supposedly when there's an "issue" with someone, it's flipped back to the NYSP (non-Trooper) to decide IF you're a go or no-go.…..and receiving revenue for a free service.
