Do you have a synthetic stock and hate that hollow feeling or would like to add some weight? Get your self some Bondo fiberglass, mix it up and put it into your stock. It adds just enough weight to make your gun not been from the heavy and really stiffen s up the stock.

I just did this whith my new Ruger PC carbine and Ruger m77/357. Love the results.

It's pretty easy. Just mix the hardner with the fiberglass and put it in the stock. It gives you plenty of time to work with it before setting up.

I don't mind the weight. The little extra added to the stock makes it feel more balanced since a lot of the weight is out front.

this stock is full of that and #9 lead shot in the forearm to bring the balance back some ..

BTW this sucker is heavy .. hold it for 3 hrs while yote hunting

That is one way to do it. But if you really want to reduce the flex you put carbon fiber arrows in the channel before filling it with fiberglass resin. This will reduce the amount of weight you are adding and prevent the stock from flexing or torquing to one side or the other under pressure.

That's a good idea. never thought of that. Once this fiberglass hardens though its pretty stiff with no movement.
