Schlitz was the first beer we drank when we were young.......it was the cheapest back then.Except for Canadian Ace which was 99 cents for a half gallon bottle.That was the winter choice,would get too warm in the summer.

As a 4th generation plumber's kid, this is what I think of when someone says "Milwaukee".... The Sawzall and the Hole Hawg.
I've got a vintage Sawzall like the one pictured, just like Granddad's...still haven't added a Hole Hawg to my collection but used one plenty in my HVAC days. Cautionary note...be careful using this bugger when on a ladder. If the bit binds hard enough, it's got enough torque to take you off the ladder. Well, maybe not you, but skinny 21-year old me

The only beer I could get in SEA in a bottle. 16oz draft. I still stock it in My refrigerator after almost 50 years. Only one bar in the area that I know of stocks it and that's My other home.

I think of the tool brand as I have around 9 Milwaukee battery operated tools in my toolbox at work,also because I dislike the wretched beer that shares the name.
Don't forget Goebel's beer either!

Now those were USA made tools that could be rebuilt and would last forever. Now Milwaukee is made in China like everything else. We're screwed unless we can start up manufacturing in this country again.

Since the industrial revolution, our world has changed significantly. Unfortunately for Detroit, and many other places they failed to keep up with the changing times.

I hear the word MILWAUKEE, and think of the tools.
But Beer, Laverne & Shirley, anything else is valid.
But NOT the Drew Carey Show. That was Cleveland.
I definitely think of the tools actually one of the only Made in China tools I go out of my way to buy. Have a lot of Milwaukee tools battery operated 3 drills, 2 1/4 drive impacts,a 3/8 and 1/2 impact, drywall gun, sawsall,flash light, Rocket work light, 2 circular saws, infrared temperature tool, and scope. Mostly FUEL. Have a few others on my wish list. Corded tools a hole hawg, 1/2 and 3/8 right angle drills. The corded tools may actually be made in USA.

I'm pretty sure the Milwaukee cordless stuff is alien technology.
Living where I do, we drank either Utica Club beer in the short Pilsner bottles sold in loose cases......or Genny Red Eyes........dang im old.
