Joe doesn't even know where he is or why today is purple or why her hair is so fruity and sweet. It's one of life's mysteries.
But, his overlords pulling the strings sure Will be paying attention.
It doesn't hurt to renew it. If I had one I would. At least you tried then. And if he/they take it away it's just another reason to be angry.

Then there is always the possibly the C&R may be worthwhile in some states, but not in others.
Currently it allows Holders in Mass to purchase C&R Handguns not on the Roster. And none are.

In Mass C&R would come into play if I wished to purchase a Makarov.
As no Mak is on the Mass Handgun Roster, we cannot purchase them.
UNLESS you have a C&R License, and the Mak was manufactured in 1970 or before (mebe 1971 now - not sure).
Sadly, very few Mail Order Dealers wish to dick around with checking dates, and even more view Mass (and NY) as legal liabilities and simply will not ship to us.

Oddly enough, one criteria for C&R is this:
"Any other firearms which derive a substantial part of their monetary value from the fact that they are novel, rare, bizarre, or because of their association with some historical figure, period, or event."
I think someone tried to get George Zimmerman's pistol classified as a C&R. Could be wrong.
I would agree it qualifies, tho.

Someone, somehow got the CZ82 on the C&R list. I bought a late 80's one 10+ years ago on a C&R. Never could figure that one out.

There is a lot of rifles out there, a handgun is a means for one to obtain.
I hope so. I got rid of all of mine. Those C&R rifles were so dangerous. Unlike me, some may need the assistance of the Government to realize how dangerous they really are.
