So, if the judge is ordering Trump to spend that money, maybe he should.
Congress certainly didn't specify exactly what and when it was spent on, so Trump should unfreeze it as directed, and then reroute it to support the DOGE investigation.
Certainly any allocation made in the budget by congress has an administrative overhead. In this case that overhead would be the DOGE investigation.
I think DOGE is leading the Nation down a path that many will not be too pleased with.

I do agree.
It presents a lot of risk in the future. Seems like just a large transfer of power and wealth will come of this, but for now, America needs to reign in the out of control government. As long as upon expiration on 7/4/26 we lock the door and throw away the key, only leaving behind sound fiscal policies, it should be fine.
There is also a strong likelihood of assassinations, civil unrest, TEOTWAWKI type stuff, etc.
Either way, I'm trying to enjoy the ride.

Debt and cancer are two ugly diseases that ultimately kill the host if not destroyed: DOGE is surgically removing the tumors and a thriving economy will chemo the rest...there's going to be pain and discomfort, there is going to be suffering, some are going to die, but we've gone too long untreated and if we're to have any chance of not just surviving, but thriving again, we are going to have to endure some come-to-Jesus hardships.
I may need to clarify my statement....
I think it is awesome that these "tumors" as you say are being removed from the cancer.
My thoughts are, if this continues, the civil unrest could very well become uncontrollable.

I have thoughts. In principle I like the concept. Government is completely broken. They seem to be trying to reign in abuse and bullshit
However,
I also almost seemingly contradictory hate the idea of another faceless bureaucrat agency getting unfettered access to do whatever they seem justified with no oversight. My fear is they will start doing some dumb shit, or, the left will use it as a roadmap to go nuclear if they ever get power back and make up all sorts of bullshit government agencies to push their causes.
