So years ago right after the unSafe Act passed I snagged up a Saiga 7.62x39, I also ordered one if the conversion kits from Carolina Shooter (or what ever the name is) because I was young an dumb and thought maybe this bull shit law will get tossed out.
Well since that's not happening and will all these new gun control debates I always see (with a few of my "friends" and subsequently their friends who jump jn) the argument "I know hunters and all of them say Ar15s or AK47 are not used for hunting" "or I have yet to meet someone who hunts with an AK47, and I keep trying to find them"
Well fuck all that noise I see there are now stupid options for "featureless AKs" so I am wanting to turn my Saiga into my new deer gun.
I've tried the spur grip they are terrible and nope. But the other two options I see are now Thordson is making their ugly stocks for AKs at about $140
Or a new York business is making something similar but not as "advanced" for about $60
I'm leaning towards the second option because well it's an AK, but part of me wants the thordson, so idk, (with the second option I would order the part thordson sells to fill in the rear trunion)
