And again what was that role? I thought it was never established that he did anything wrong. Trump's role was in encouraging PEACEFUL protest of a rigged election. He specifically stated "keep it peaceful", unlike certain Democrat politicians I don't have to name.
So this is just another way the Democrats are advocating for violence. By suing a man who advocated for peace.
