A cop I was processing an arrest with years ago told me the story of his shooting. Two brothers attempted to rob an after-hours bar. He responded and shot and killed one of them. The second one fled the scene. While still on the scene a few minutes later, someone came up and said that the other brother was around the block talking about killing the cop who killed his brother. They went to get him and he shot at them. The same cop killed him too.
