Interested to see where they start (if they start). Yesterday's news broke the narrative that only white trump supporters in rural/suburban areas are unvaccinated. It appears a lot of people in the inner cities are also lagging in vaccination rates. Would these teams really have the guts to go door to door in the most violent areas of the country? Lol. We all know the answer to that.
I think this is all B.S! Can't use law enforcement, they are short and tied up with day to day Police work. They can't just stop what they are doing to go door to door.. Who now?? We are talking thousands of homes here.. Girl scout fund raisers maybe?? This is all gaslighting. nothing more.

How do they not know who is vaccinated? The state of NY literally has a record of it. If you got vaccinated you went to a state site and registered with all your information to get vaccinated. They know. They won’t send these people to homes who were vaccinated. You don’t think they won’t cross check if you say you were vaccinated and really aren’t?
So you get a knock at the door and you’re not vaccinated so you tell some moron you’re vaccinated. Ok maybe they go away for that day. If they are putting all this effort into it you think they will go away forever and record you permanently as vaccinated?

I work for the gov and I just heard 50% of the state workforce volunteered for some sort of Covid duty. I did it for the overtime. I hadn’t gotten a raise in 3 years and it was winter. I needed some cash so I said Fuck it I’ll take the money.
I told people straight out I wasn’t getting the vaccine and didn’t think it was a good idea. No one listened. I didn’t care if they asked me to come back or not. I literally told one lady that was nervous about getting the shot that they gave us 10 body bags today and there’s only one left. The state worker next to me his jaw fucking dropped. I said I don’t care what are they going to do ask me not to come back? They’d be doing me a favor. I never heard a word. I talked the entire time about how Cuomo was an asshole and sexually assaulted those women and should be fired, how he mismanaged the pandemic, and how he caused deaths.
If they ask me to go door to door I’ll say no. I draw the line there no matter what the OT is like and I should soon be getting 3 years worth of raises back pay. Where I was at was public property and people came there of their own doing.

That I don’t know. I have a friend who is a pharmacist at rite aid and I can ask him. I don’t see him much so it might take a bit to get the answer.
The vast majority were done by the government. I would also imagine that if it’s not done at a state site that information is sent to NYS for two reasons. NYS is supplying the vaccine free of charge and is collecting the health insurance information so they can bill for personnel time later and if you are vaccinated at a pharmacy you’re still eligible to sign up for the vaccine passport. When signing up for the NYS run vaccine passport that information is verified against what’s in the NYS vaccine database before you get the NYS covid passport QR bar code. Of course this is just a guess on my end and I could be wrong

I have a much lower opinion of the State's intelligence to actually do something. To be blunt, I don't think they are that smart.
And, even were I to get the jab, I would not accept a "vaccine passport".
In one-and-a-half years we've gone from some semblance of Freedom to "your papers please" and "get in the boxcar".

I agree they are t that smart. My tax prep guy said we could claim my wife’s tuition and student loan interest so we did. The state caught it and we had to pay back X amount of dollars. We did this for 3 tax seasons and they only asked for one back. I fully expected them to audit the other years but never did.
Something tells me it’s all effort and I think The state will put a boatload of effort into vaccine tracking. I hope I’m wrong.
