Dot Torture Drill

Anyone have any experience with shooting the Dot Torture Drill? I’ve done it 4 times so far. I have been doing quite a bit of dry fire with the Dry Fire mag lately. Looks as though it is helping. I am trying to become proficient at the Dot drill as it is a prerequisite for a 2 day red dot class with the Modern Samurai Project that I aim to take this summer. So anyone else shot these?

Remember at 4 yds, the dot's height over bore might matter a little. Might.

It's a great drill for warm up or just working fundamentals. Keep shooting until you can shoot it clean at 5 yards. You will throughly enjoy Scott's class.

Shot that target 1,000 times or more and benefitted greatly, but still an inferior training compared to exercise requiring rapid draw strokes and/or movement. I found I always took my time on the dot torture, even in the drawing evolutions.
