Double barrel firearm

So I was thinking about the popularity of the 12 gauge firearms as of recent (shockwave and tac14) and seeing that Remington has introduced a semi auto 12 gauge firearm and it got me thinking, why hasn’t anyone made a side by side double firearm? Like an old west coach gun. Say 14 -16 inch barrel and birds head grip? I would totally buy one.

Find an action that didn't start life as a shotgun and you're golden. May require a machinist or extremely competent gunsmith.

Maybe write to this company or a similar one expressing interest in a double barrel 80%. They might take on the challenge.

Probably because most short barrel-pistol grip buyers wants more capacity over the 2rd capacity of a dbl barrel.

I'm not into these shorty shotgun fads. But I love an old 28" S x S shotgun for hunting.

Hey! I was actually thinking of this myself in the past couple of days as I love my Shockwave and have wanted a coach gun, and was thinking to myself what if... We must be on the same wavelength.

Even better if it had external hammers.
