The 650,000 is the total emails on that laptop. They are seeking a new warrant to go after Abedein's emails since their current warrant is only for Weiner's. So, it is unknown how many are duplicates, but it opens up a whole new can of worms because there could be other emails that were deleted from Hillary's server, but also other communications from and to Abedein that was not on that server could also be made public (sort of like the wikileaks issue).

But, by far the best part of this article is the description of how the FBI rank and file are pissed at Comey:

'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'
