The viral story may or may not have been accurate but it was eventually stated by a spokes person for a motel that they would not renew reservations for the Vets who were displaced. The vets displaced subsequently were relocated to Dutchess County.

A number of Lawmakers / press are playing games and reading from the same widely reported playbook to likely provide cover with words "eviction vs not renewing reservations" "thrown out vs not renewing reservations". Even Mayor Adams referred to the motel not accepting some reservation renewals.

Bottom line some vets who wanted to renew reservations were denied and involuntarily forced to move out but made there way to Dutchess.

It was happening long after Lindsay. I got a white trash cousin who was on welfare in the 80's. They moved her and her 3 spawns into a house near Ellenville. She bitched and moaned for a year til they moved her back to the city. She didnt want to live there because the whole town, I think it was Woodbourne or Mountaindale, was full of city welfare deadbeats. Told her, yeah, and you're one of them.

If local government can’t step up and say “no, we aren’t going to let illegal foreign invaders come take all available housing out of the market,” then why do we have government at all? It’s anarcho-tyranny either way.

I'm all for local government telling the migrants to piss off. I'm just not ok with them shutting down a business that doesn't do what the local government says.
