I'm all for local government telling the migrants to piss off. I'm just not ok with them shutting down a business that doesn't do what the local government says. Everyone on here was pissed(myself included) when businesses were getting shut down during covid because they didn't want to comply with the bullshit rules. Now it's going the other way - county says no but the business says yes. I don't like the way a lot of businesses are run but if it's not my business then I have no say in it.

The county can tell them no on the grounds the people are in the county illegally. They broke the law when they broke into the country.

The government never had the right to tell citizens what to do with their health. We own this country, illegals have no say in our country so they have no such rights.

I live almost as far away from NYC but still be in NYS as can be done. The area here is mostly cornfields and swamps. No stores or that kind of stuff is within walking distance.

While I'm only about 170 miles from NYC and predominantly farmland, at first I was glad there are no big hotels nearby, then I got to thinking about it and its not too far fetched to have the state come into an area like this and offer some family farm like 10x's the money they can get out of that 100 acre corn field to let them put up tent cities for the illegals. Right now we have a similar, but much different situation. A local farmer agreed to lease 800 acres to some solar company to put up 800 acres of solar panels. Nobody wants it, but its being shoved down our throats thanks to FUAC basically giving the solar industry free reign. Cant really blame the farmer, its likely his ticket to a nice retirement he probably had no chance of getting growing corn and hay. I fear it'll be the same with a tent city.

There's plenty of room down near the boarder for tent cities. We don't need or want them here.
