More people die from drunk driving than by guns every year. I know the stats well. I didnt think I needed to go into great detail about some logical differences.Every day, 29 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. This is one death every 50 minutes. The annual cost of alcohol-related crashes totals more than $44 billion. Source; CDC
Hardly a victimless crime
Maybe you know someone killed by a drunk driver and my comment struck a cord (I hope not). I post from my phone so I typically try to keep my comments brief. A dwi where no one is hurt is a obviously a victimless crime. A dwi where someone is hurt or killed is obviously NOT victimless.
For someone to lose their 2a rights for a simple dwi (where no one is hurt) is absurd. Again, I didn't think I needed to point out the obvious.
