i have one of these , not a photo of mine but its similar .. pvc carbide cannon ..
Sometime in the last 2 years (I think) a company released what I believe was announced as the the first commercially available personal flamethrower. As far as I know it's still legal everywhere except California. Since NY and Cali are always competing for who can be the most overbearing on personal freedoms, I expect NY will be the next state to ban it.
It's pricey (to me anyway) and I couldn't see myself ever getting one at the $1200 or so price point, but frankly I'd be surprised if at least someone here doesn't already have one.
I just saw the other day that tacticalshit.com has some color models on sale for $900 right now...

I don't normally go for 'bling' , but I think if I was buying a frickin' flamethrower I might go with this gold one (which is currently one of the ones on sale).. just.. because.

NY is banning the flame thrower due to the spate of flame thrower attacks we've had lately.
