Good litmus test. That's because there are more Rino's in DC than Africa these days.
JFK was the classic Democrat. Anyone in the Republican party that is to the left of him is a RINO.
I like those numbers but remembering what happened after the general election, I’m a bit pessimistic. I fear Pa and Ga won’t come through for us as per the last election (too many ignorant sheep and the possibility of corruption)
Not just Chads.Bring back the hanging chads!
I am predicting the House is won by the GOP. Red Wave. A total of 236 seats. 218 are needed for control
I am predicting the Senate is also won by the GOP. Red Wave. A total of 54 Seats will be held by the Right. 51 is needed for control.
As for the Governors of States, Huge win across the Country in these races as well.
Does it really matter?
Honest question.
We've had it before where R's were in control of everything and nothing happened. Nothing got better. Nothing got worse it was just status quo.
Now even if Rs take Congress we still have a huge D in the white house that will block anything and rule with a pen. The best case scenario is gridlock. Nothing positive or betterment will occur.
The ONLY positive I can see would be better judicial appointments.
Maybe I'm just become jaded. I don't know.
I am however rooting for solid R victories as state governors. They have a greater chance at making a positive change in the state level which for many will be able to be felt and noticed.
Status quo is preferable than if the cunt Dems control everything and we continue to degenerate as a nation spiral into an uncontrolled descent of despair.
I feel exactly as you do. I also feel a Republican win will put the house and senate at odds and nothing will get accomplished. All this will do is give the dems and edge in everything for 2024 IMO. People don’t like to see nothing getting done and the tide will not turn enough for them to accomplish anything except stalling as discussed here. Well stalling is t a good political strategy because Biden will stall too and blame the Republican’s for nothing changing.Completely agree. But having things "not get shittier" is hardly reason for excitement.
I want to see positive incremental steps for improvement.
The best we can hope for is a speed bump to slow the mess down.
And yes I will be voting straight down the conservative line as usually do. I vote in all elections every single year down to school board all the way to potus.

Be aware what the Conservative line looks like. The Supreme Court nominees have quite a few of them listed as Dem/Conserv.
I also vote the Con line. In the cases of the Dem also being on the Con line I switched to the Rep candidate.
Part of doing your due diligence. Thoroughly look over the ballot and understand the games played so you don't make a mistake.Be aware what the Conservative line looks like. The Supreme Court nominees have quite a few of them listed as Dem/Conserv.
