At the weekly steel shoot yesterday, it was a shotgun + pistol course. To start the course, you had to shoot 5 steel targets that were about 15 feet away from a chair that you were sitting in (awkward). Shouldn't have been too difficult. Then you get out of the chair, reload 5 more rounds and hit some clay targets about 50 feet out. It took me 5 rounds to knock down the first two steel targets. Ugh. The far clay targets only took me 5 rounds, go figure. Was using my winchester sxp 12ga pump. It's just too big for me. It felt so unwieldy. Definitely need to get a shorter LOP shotgun in 20ga. Any recommendations? Pump or semi auto would be considered.
