The first thing that stuck out to me was that he only got 5 years for attempted murder. He should have been locked up longer.

That said, good on him for turning his life around. There are comments on the article that the taco place he went to was a known gang hangout and wasn't really near his house. SOOO much spin either way. But, what else do you expect from the media?
