TL;DR - Around here in farm country the Hispanics work hard, mind their own business and stay out of trouble for the most part.
Just because I'm posting this does not mean I support illegal entry in any way.
I live in farm country, and along with the smaller family farms, there are two very large "corporate" farms near me. One is a dairy the other one is agricultural, Those two farms hire a lot of South Americans. I don't know what the status is with their employees. As far as, work programs, green cards, or an illegal invader. Etc.
The thing is, the only time that I see them other than in the farm fields is during their lunch break or at the grocery store.
A lot of them go to the nearby 7-11 convenience store for lunch. I also see them in the local Walmart, and here is the kick in the ass part and I hate to say it but it's the truth. A lot of them dress better (not slobs) and are more polite than a lot of the white trash that I see in the store. Where it really shows is when there is a family and their kids are properly groomed and well behaved.
The dairy farm provides housing with an apartment-like building on the farm's property and from what I can tell there are no problems there as far as calls to LE and that sort of thing.
What I'm saying is that they stick to themselves, don't create crime problems in the area, and work their asses off.
There's one little Mexican dude that buzzes past my house on his electric bicycle on the way to the dairy farm every morning at 4:30 am. Then I hear him going back the other way at 10:30 pm. This happens rain or shine every day but Sunday. His punctuality is amazing, I could set my clock to him.
I posted this from another point of view that some people may not see. The ones here in the country work the farms and stay out of trouble. However I can not speak to the ones in the cities, I never go to a city.
