Erie County permit office; recent experience

[Deplorable Me]

Last Friday I went to the Erie County satellite office (about 1000) in Elma (open Friday's only). Very crowded; about 15 in line. I never signed it, had other business on a schedule. Bunch of fat old retired suburban guys waiting.

This morning at 1100 I popped into the downtown permit office. #2 in line; 15 minutes and out the door. Maybe 6 total persons there for business; three of them were wimmins! One for a new permit and two adding guns.

Went to main office dowmtown Friday @ 415. No line. Upgraded my card to unrestricted. Took me longer to get to their office, from one block away, than to do the deed.

I agree with @Carlos Hathcock it takes longer to park and walk there than anything else.

My son and I went to the Elma office twice last month at 11:00 and only had one person ahead of us each time.
