Our local shop has a good selection but they only sell Kimber, S&W, Ruger, Glock, Walther and Colt brand new but have various used brands.
Its a small shop but has over 100 handguns right now in stock.

used to be 12-18 months but now 2-3 months is not uncommon at all. Most are in that timeframe surprisingly. The erie county sheriffs took over the background checks and spend things up greatly. My background check alone took longer when I applied. A tad over 4 months if I remember correctly.
