screw your security clearance when you leave a job / position .. its gone ... when you get your next position / job reapply .. simple .. BUT these assholes know there's shit on them and won't get it on the next job .. why there bitching over this ... fk them

I’m going out on a limb here and guessing you didn’t have the same clearances as the directors of the cia. You didn’t make millions off security clearance by starting consulting firms and your clearance is no longer active so basically revoked. I don’t like the idea of people acting like they are in it to serve the county then making millions off something the gov. Gave them. When you leave your clearance should be revoked and it is for the vast majority

Um, no. My clearance has not been revoked. If you ever had one, yours probably was not revoked either.

You are correct, to a point. Some can go up to ten years. That is, they expire. All here are talking about revocation. There is a very big difference between the two.
Some clearances are good for up to ten years before they expire, and that again, is not always the rule.
But like I said, your statement is just about spot on.
