Couple of years ago I read a paper by former Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard. Nine out of 10 gun crimes were committed by a person with a history of gun crimes and committing violence. (Repeat offenders.)

Firearm violence can only be solved by locking up the individuals pulling the trigger and containing them with their peers.

Sounds simple enough. Vast majority of city dwellers are renters. Exiting the cities means home ownership, which is becoming more difficult every year.

Oh boy... Well, maybe someday, a proper narrative will occur that discusses the cultural propensity for a particular demographic that is prone to VIOLENCE regardless of the method of delivery! Gun violence isn't a thing, it is a term created by anti's... Period! But violence itself, whether it be fists, clubs, knives, guns, cars, bottles, hammers, chairs, pencils, etc... Is the issue! False Premise............

WWII Vets killed plenty of Nazis on the ground, plenty of Japs in the jungles, and Korean War vets killed plenty of NK's and Chinese Reds on the ground, and Vietnam Vets killed many of VC/NVA and the Gulf War Vets killed untold numbers of Jihadi bastards.

Few if any, decided to follow a life of crime, due to hearing gunfire and being exposed to it.

This makes sense to me but they need to hold those responsible for causing this not legal gun owners. I’m sick of being the fall guy for everything because I’m a white, conservative, Christian, gun owner. I have everything working against me.

Not so easy, especially at my age. I also have a complete wood shop in the basement, a gun room upstairs and a 3 car garage with a full attic all stuffed with machines tools and equipment and parts in the city but also on a private dead end street. I could never afford to replace the house with one similar in the country.
