Here in New York, is there any way to verify how a scanned ballot is actually cast? I only recall seeing a "ballot accepted" message after my ballot gets pulled into the scanner at the polls. I have no verification of which candidate actually gets my vote?

A computer science kid from grade school could write a program that analyses the input, votes blue, and spits out a receipt that mimics the input.

Until the operating system and programs for these vote fraud machines is open source, and can be checked at any time, I'd rather stick to paper ballots and hand counting, or those old clunky voting machines I remember from my youth.

It is FAR too easy to cheat nowadays. And here in NY I have little confidence my vote is actually being cast as I want it. Vote changing tech is really the only logical explanation on how the dems can keep winning no matter how totalitarian, fascist, and oppressive the NY legislature gets.

If I was running the system.... All voters show their fed government issued voter ID card. After voting the right thumb will be marked with indelible ink. Paper ballots, scanned by machine with open source code and not connected to the internet and verified by human with witness present. After counting all paper ballots are sealed in marked boxes and retained by the county for 4 years. There will be severe financial repercussions for losing or early destruction of sealed ballot boxes. Ballot tampering is punishable by 50 year prison sentence. All registered voters need to confirm registration every 5 years.
