A couple of years ago, a Buffalo area man, - as I recall he was a college professor; professional target shooter; and rare firearm collector, was mistakenly identified as a felon with a similar name.I don't think for a minute that they will say " oops, my bad, here are your firearms back"
It's gonna take time and money and more patience than I have about now.
This is what they want though, try to make it seem not worth it.
Be CAREFUL what you say online. In recent incidents, people are getting arrested for things they are posting. Please be careful.

Thanks for the proof that you did it knowingly. At least then when we kill you, we have the evidence we need.
Remember that "We the people" still have a 2nd amendment even in this communist state of NY and we do exercise that right! If you think this is a threat just go back and read your threat!

Read the court decision shadow posted. Then consider rationally the context of his statement within the confines of this discussion.
Hint, the court decision does not allow for knowingly shooting at cops conducting any sort of lawful police business involving you (or anyone else). So yeah, shoot at me because you think you can "defend yourself" against my lawful actions and I will kill you.

No court in NY would agree.

Been there done that eh buddy?I welcome the scrutiny. This forum would appreciate it too I’m sure. Go for it.
Also ex wives....Come on, 18 years. Unless one hides their entire career, they don't get to the end without sitting across from IAB a few times.
They don’t just screw cops. I’m awaiting a false report from my soon to be ex. She’s gone proper crazy and I’m sure it’s coming.Of course, they play the game just as well as perps. All lawyers know how to screw cops, it's not exactly rocket science. But I've finally figured out how to avoid all trouble: I sit at my computer all day long making notes for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign, punctuated by a long gym break which includes a nice hot shower afterwards and catching up on the news in the locker room.

Oh I’m taking precautions alright. I have cameras at my house I won’t drink at all until this is done. Fun times...I really hope not. Since you are on guard already, take whatever precautions possible and stick to them. One thing I used to do was take note of every camera I passed throughout my day and stare directly into them so that if the need arose, I could give those locations as proof of my prior whereabouts. I had to do this for months during my first divorce until I felt like I was in the clear. Also, get receipts for the most trivial of purchases. That's another way to prove where you were at any particular time.
