I also want to know what caliber the homeowner used. Also, where did the second shot hit him? Clearly not a vital organ because the intruder was able to make it to the hospital.

I am conflicted about this. On the one hand the threat was stopped and the intruder left. The homeowner did not kill anyone. But will the intruder survive to rob other people? Kinda sorta wish there was more finality to this story.
