FBI ReArrests Witness to Biden Bribery on the Same Old Charge Days After Judge Ordered His Release

Alexander Smirnov — the FBI source who told agents that Burisma executives discussed paying Hunter Biden and Joe Biden $5 million each to leverage U.S. policy in Ukraine to the company’s benefit — was arrested again Thursday pursuant to the same charges and same indictment that resulted in his arrest on Feb. 14.

According to his attorney

“Mr. Smirnov was rearrested on an arrest warrant (for previously lying during an early FBI interview) issued from the same Court where he was planning on voluntarily appearing when required. He had previously been released by a federal Magistrate Judge after a full and complete hearing where both sides were heard. He was inside our law office at the time of his arrest, preparing his defense,” his counsel said in a statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. “We are pursuing lawful remedies to once again seek his release.”

The DOJ did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

I will absolutely vote for Trump, but at best I think he will delay the inevitable.

Not so sure about that. I'm inclined to think he wasnt privied to a lot of classified info most POTUS are. When he threatened to "declassify everything" they woulda suicided him if he had anything to expose. And surely after that threat he was likely kept out of the loop where ever possible. He claims to want to drain the swamp, if he had the dirt on the commies it should have been put out immediately.

No one knows it all.... Outed ones might not be a surprise to you, or to some or a lot of others on this site, and sites like this. But I'd bet there are plenty of surprises yet to find out, about who and what. Plus there are plenty of people in the country who don't subscribe to sites with members who are as conservative as those/we here. If Trump wrote the book I'd buy it and I expect lots of people here would also.

Sure, I cant rattle off every name, but there wont be one that surprises me. If they want to surprise me, show me somebody in DC that isnt dirty. The big takeaway from his first term, to me anyways, is that he is fighting this swamp alone and can only count on some in his family.
