Exactly.

Pistol parts, aside from frames, aren’t usually serialized, so it isn’t clear how the origin of the parts was discovered, but…

What unqualified writer for "shooting news weekly" came up with this gem? Spooky pistols are predominately glocks, has this person never noticed that a glock pistol has 3 sets of serial numbers?

Side question, why are these pistols even being destroyed if they are not evidence and just service weapons? Do we not have enough money to just piss away by destroying likely perfectly functional tools?
