Not likely.
The case will likely be reheard en Banc (before the entire court, not just three justices) and the initial ruling will be reversed. California's ban will be allowed to stand. Same thing happened in Peruta.
Yes, it will probably be reversed by the full court, but then it will be appealed to the US Supreme Court, where it might very well be upheld.

They have frequently refused to hear gun cases. I don't think that means they will never hear another gun case.

As far as I can tell, only one has been confirmed thus far. Two or three more have been nominated but not confirmed, and one was forced to withdraw just yesterday. Definitely not enough to make a difference in the fundamental makeup of the 29-judge panel.
