If NY Pistol Permit (registration scheme) is someday rulled unconsititutional, then we should demand that all records be destroyed. You cannot have confiscation without registration.
That definitely will not happen. The 'shall issue' doctrine does not mean that they won't tighten the screws to get that unrestricted permit. Now if they want to make all 50 states 'constitutional carry' and eliminate all pistol permits (subject to age, maybe), I could only imagine the political carnage on that one. We can all dream....

If it were ruled unConstitutional tomorrow I would be starting to replace every pistol I have by Saturday. Even if I buy the exact same make/model, I will make sure it doesn't have a serial number the Albany shitbags know of.
