Yep, just so they can thump on their chest saying look what we did. The Democrats lowered the interest rates. Of course they won’t say that they were the ones that raised them in the first place.

Anything less than 100 bases pts is BS and fake. I would expect maybe 25 pts next week and another by Oct for the election. Nothing in the real numbers of the economy indicate any rate cuts. Then all reinstated by Jan 25.

Things are starting to slow but it’s too early to cut the rates. Lots of cars and campers on dealer lots. Lots of campers, kayaks and recreation things for sale on marketplace and prices are coming down but you don’t cut rate when inflation is 3-3.5% but they need to win so they will.

Even if they cut interest rates, the price of everything is so high as it is.

My buddy looked at it this way... widget A is now 100% more expensive than it was 3 years ago due to inflation. Who cares if you add on another even another 10% for putting it on a "loan". It's peanuts at that point.

I'd like to see the day where you use a credit card, and they pay you for you using it with negative interest rates to combat inflation.

Is that percentage the daily rate? I think I've said it here and I told my boss, I'd have to have a 100% raise, right now, for my salary to equal the buying power of what I was making 15 years ago.

Told them straight up that I didn't know how much longer I could afford to keep my job.
