Federal Suppressor Ban Introduced
Two federal lawmakers reintroduced legislation to ban and confiscate suppressors nationwide. If it passes, you'll have 90 days to comply.
But we have to stop it before it could happen. They admit it hasn’t happened.Yeah because every shooting that's happened has had a suppressor on the weapon. And it made the gun whisper quiet like in the movies so nobody heard the shots. Idiots
Strange that they are attacking something that is so heavily regulated. Curious as to the motivations behind that thought process.
1. Occams Razor explanation, That they just hate guns and anything to do with them and this looks like low hanging fruit.
2. Political pushback against any revival of Hearing Protection Act.
3. Test case for completely outlawing NFA items, success here will open the door for SBR's next, mooting any pistol brace discussion.
4. Test for confiscation actual. Small demographic, Registry existing, Less controversial than a gun confiscation. Likely less pushback from the gun community. All FUDD gun owners and a majority of others won't care enough to protest this ban. (bumpstock and pistol brace example)
5. Anti gunners will see the effective use of registry/confiscation bolstering support for universal background checks.
6. A big win amid many losses and coming losses on the gun control front.
7. All of the above.
These are not stupid people when it comes to politics and subjugating the citizenry. They know that silencers don't make guns silent. They know that silencers are already heavily regulated. They know that silencers are rarely if ever used in crime. They know that perhaps they can't "eat the elephant" in one sitting and continue to gnaw away at the fringes, eventually they'll get it all. They know that there will be little support against their infringement, even by members of the gun community, as they chip away toward their ultimate goal of disarming the citizens.
Make no mistake that this is what they seek. They know that there will be no large scale resistance as they continue their incremental, inexorable march toward their goal. They are in mid way in this process as we speak. They have been banning and confiscating for a while, first with fringe items that aren't actually firearms, things that FUDDs don't care about (AWBs, mag bans and limits). NFA and all semi auto bans are coming (look at the semi auto rifle permit here). How long until they require registry of all semi auto rifles? How long until registry/universal background checks for everything. Look at the SAFE provision that allows that arbitrary suspension of a PP allows for confiscation of all guns. By the time most of the cun community wakes up to this fact all that will be left to resist will 70 year old FUDDs with their .270 deer rifles and box of 18 rounds and their O/U skeet guns and some #8 low brass shells. I know most people on this forum already know these things but to paraphrase the grabbers "If it only opens one set of eyes".
People believe what they see in Hollywood and only contract killers use them to double tap someone in the back of the head with a .22. I had these conversations so yes this is what people believeStrange that they are attacking something that is so heavily regulated. Curious as to the motivations behind that thought process.

Of course armed freemen are a massive thorn is the side of their one world agenda. Once we are effectively dis-armed I shudder at the atrocities they will perpetrate on us. Not to offend, but I think it will be on a scale that will make earlier events look like a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese.You forgot one,
the disarmament of the entire country for whatever the hell it is they have planned. They want no push back from whatever it is they are planning to do , Mandatory this, mandatory that, Yadda yadda yada. The 2nd A is a major thorn in their side .

There’s a lot more to a free state than gun laws. It’s ok just move to a free state.
The left’s argument should be countered with a question and answer:
How many legally owned silencers were used in a crime last year? Answer — none. ( if I am wrong it’s pretty close to none)
IMPOSSIBLE!!
That's not a counter. That's an irrelevant question. The left’s argument should be countered with a question and answer:

You’re preaching to the choir. The counter is to get the independents to think. Say the counter and the ask the question, what is the real reason they are trying to pass this law? Distraction from their failed policies. That's not a counter. That's an irrelevant question.
The left's "argument" is countered simply with "not no, but fuck no!", quickly followed by "You don't like it eliminate the Constitution".
After that, it's all over since there will no longer be a valid government.
They have to pander to current/former LEOs not to get their support, but to avoid their active opposition. All a bunch of BS, but this part makes me wonder WTF??
"
- Provide limited exceptions for certain current and former law enforcement personnel, for certain Atomic Energy personnel ...?
- Really? Atomic energy personnel??
Lathes require skill to operate correctly and its a decent learning curve to get there. A $189 printer once one knows the secret knock can create things that are surprisingly durable.Start buying metal lathes and stock some metal, tools and dies...
And FUCK them!
