It is amazing that these devises are legal in so many countries around the world, including most of Europe. Most require a license to own a firearm, the suppressor is nothing more than an addendum to that license, and some countries like New Zealand it is an off the shelf item.
But then, the fools that make these laws have shown publicly they have little, no, and or, false knowledge of firearms in general so with something like a suppressor they must rely on Hollywood to broaden their understanding.

How many suppressors does the IRS own? FBI, DHS? EPA, Nina Jankowicz's censorship dept?

PLENTY, AND ARE USED on 9mm subguns and some pistols.
