One day I want them and want them to be available for me. I'm just jelly that NY sucks donkey balls and won't let free citizens protect their hearing a little bit especially because mine is already damaged. I find it odd that they won't let me make my guns heavier, harder to conceal and more difficult to maneuver around while protecting my own and anyone near me while shooting their hearing.. Weird... Go figure it's like something else is motivating them?


But yes, just because I can't have mine doesn't mean I don't support others getting theirs. I'm just jaded and jealous.

Some day..... I'll be able to buy one.

This must have something to do with the lawsuit already in progress filed by Texas. So now we have two "mass" shootings in Texas and now they introduce this bill, because they know they are going to lose the Texas case.

According to the logic provided, this all makes me assume that "certain current and former law enforcement personnel, for certain Atomic Energy personnel" plan on suppress[ing] the sound of gunfire from unsuspecting victims and reduce the chances they can run, hide, take cover.

Well that's a self serving description... There's also a host of other practical uses ...

Self Defense inside the home, 1 - discharge of firearm within closed space doesn't immediately cause hearing loss. 2 - doesn't wake the neighbors in case of #1. 3 - suppress flash in darkness. 4 - protects from hearing loss with frequent firearm use, ie, range, etc. 5 - protects those near you in #5, lol.

That's it ... Might as well say it's designed not to melt snowflakes due to firearm use. Or a bazillion other contrived explanations which are ridiculous and bizarre!

Sounds to me the play on words : Suppressor is not the same thing as Silencer. Two completely different issues. They want to equate both as Silent when they are not even close.
