The best part is that when they physically touched him, he responded with immediate and controlled violence.

1st thing, props to the driver for standing up for what he believes in. He could potentially loose his job / be ostercised by the lefties for trampling on their rights ( which are more important than anyone else's ).
Was the driver a FedEx employee or contractor?
Might be the reason that they didn't fire him.
Of course they may be a great company and stand behind the driver as well. Im just a cynical SOB .

If the douchebags had gotten all the permits, etc, I would say they were disgusting, but within their rights, and the FEDEX guy was wrong (incidentally, if they'd done that, they probably would have had some cops on hand to prevent trouble due to the nature of their protest).
As it was, I want to buy that driver a drink. He should never have to pay for his own again.
