You guys really have know who is really doing this . It’s not the FBI per se . It’s Garland’s DOJ. They gave the order to do it . It’s rare that the FBI makes any arrest let alone this type without the DOJ giving the okay . And in this arrest , it’s definitely a DOJ decision.

Go look up who did all of that . Including the raid of Trump. Same group from the FBI. The exact same group— from DC. The special agent in the Whitmore case was promoted to the DC field office. He previously served n the DC office . Guess what cases that guy is in charge of now.

It’s not the same . It’s like saying the military torturing prisoners of war and blaming the whole institution for enhanced interrogations or Abu grade. And I am not judging those interrogations but the vast majority of the military including special operators had very limited role in it - they captured them then turned them over. Do we blame them ?

Abu Ghraib was one instance, perpetrated by primarily low level staff. Not a good analogy.

The crooks at the FBI are at the top, bottom and middle levels. The number of people who willingly participate in framing the innocent, attacking political enemies, making crime where there isn't any, covering up crime when its politically convenient, fabricating evidence, hiding exculpatory evidence, lying, cheating and stealing, etc, etc, etc, are limitless, as are the examples of this bad behavior.

For what its worth, the 'I was only following orders' excuse fell out of favor about 80 years ago.
