If I have a supply of water and non perishable food in my basement, how in the fuck is FEMA gonna know that? Except for the preppers that post on forums about how much supplies they have they will have very few private homes to take food from. It wouldnt be worth the effort to them. Well here's the thing: Under the NDAA and subsequent State and Federal Laws, in case of Emergency, the Government, be it the locals, State deployed NG, or the Feds CAN under Law seize your supplies as well as Vehicles, Fuel, etc. and either give you an IOU or a bullet to the head... Just like ghost guns (sic) there IS good reason for Op-Sec and NOT letting the gubberment know or even suspect what you have....the fucktards in charge or posing as such will gladly dine on your dime the same as roving bands of thugs and neither will give a fuck about you or your Family (unless there are fuckable ones they can exploit or sell.)

It was the same tragic incident. It was a houseboat so I lost my house too. So I have no extra rooms to house illegals. I have no food to feed the unprepared. And of course, I no longer have any guns. Come to find out guns are icky anyway, so meh.
