My guy is on there.
Tom Moore from Spectacular Sports in Frewsburg NY.
He also works at Tall Tales Sporting Goods just over the border in Russell PA.
You pay for your gun in PA at Tall Tales, they have great prices compared to NYS.
Then after you go to Mayville NY to add the pistol to your permit, he meets you back at his shop in NY(5-6 miles away) and does the transfer for $25. Takes less than 1 hour from purchase to possession.
It is still cheaper than any local NY gun shop.
So, Tom gets paid from Tall Tales for selling you a gun, then gets $25 for the transfer.
Thats how I buy all my handguns.

His website is not up anymore, it just shows store hours, mostly be appointment.
His shop is very small. Mostly hunting and fishing licenses, fishing gear and a few used guns.
His main function is the PA to NY transfers I mentioned above.
He is a really, really nice guy and is always available for transfers.

My FFL is there but here are a few more that were recommended

Did not dig up addresses on these Dutchess County FFLs because I believe they no longer operate walk-in retail sales outlets but do maintain a fully functional shop for the "professional services to shooters, competitors and firearms enthusiasts" in the Hudson Valley.

Not a problem! Glad to help. The ATF provided link will give you all the NY (and other) FFL info you need to fill the map. Sortable by zip code, easy for persons to find FFL's local to their area. FFL numbers so persons can verify online and phone numbers for contact info.

checking .. yep you got Avon NY shop .. got my SKB 12ga O/U from there and had the smith do my trigger job and bolt monkey finger fumble release / lock job
omg the biggest pet peeve on the 10-22

BTW last i know of the Avon gun shop .. years ago .. was the dad of the Arkport shop .. Schultheis when i got my 1022 worked on .. what my dad said ..
