I've decided to put fiber optics on my sig p320/m17 and have narrowed it down to two companies Tru glow and dawson engineering tru glow i'm familiar with but dawson is something new to me any thoughts

I think dawson will work with you if the POI is not what you want after you put their sights on. From their site:
If you purchase a set of Dawson Precision Perfect Impact® sights, either a set or a rear with the recommended height front, we promise the Dawson sights will zero your pistol. If the Dawson recommended sights do not zero your pistol, we will give you one new front sight that has the required height to correct the point of impact to your specification, free of charge. If we do not currently offer the height you need, we will custom make the height you need to correct the point of impact to your specification. The width of the front sight must always be the same as the original sight in the set.

I have the Dawson's on my S&W M&P 22 really like them! But know I put a Vortex Venom on it to match my M&P 40/9, but I would like to try to get a second slide for the 22 as I did enjoy shooting it with open sites also.
