Well shit looks like finally someone same up with an aftermarket Gen4 glock frame.

About damn time. Not a bad price either,

That's what I was wondering, might be a case by case (or more like holster by holster) situation

This all just makes me wish we didn't have to go through the whole amendment process with our permits. I know it's not so bad for some, but for myself and others, it's kind of a pain.

I figured if building from scratch it wouldnt matter much if it were gen 3 or 4.
Some of the "experts" say the gen 5 is the best of them all. I shoot then all about the same tho....

Nope not when it comes to 80%

The parts the 80% that are already finished is the guide spring area spot.

Not sure what you mean by 80%, these are finished frames I thought.
I realize the recoil springs are different but not a big deal imo. I know some say that the dual spring tames recoil a bit but I can not tell the difference.

Even if they are complete frames, you would have to modify them (very carefully) to be able to take the larger sized Gen 4 recoil spring.

But as I am typing this I'm wondering if a gen 3 recoil spring with the gen 4 adapter would work......

Oh and I thought it was an 80% because it looks like it's just one the the polymer80 frames that they did the work on already gave it a SN and are selling it

I have been told it is easy to do the 80% thing. Someone who I know just bought one for a future build and told me that they do come with a number so you can put it on your permit.

The 80% frames part isnt what is difficult it is what is needed to be done to convert it from taking gen 3 slides to gen 4

Dont quoit me but I believe you can put a gen3 slide on a gen4 by using a gen3 recoil spring.
