So a buddy of mine got a new VP9. Over the weekend he hit me up seeing if I wanted to go to the range and do some blasting. So we did.
I brought my Glcok 17 chopped for 19 mags with agency arm's trigger (was my carry gun) and my current carry gun CZ P-07.
Well I do have to say that VP9 is really nice, feels amazing in the hand, points beautifully, I've always been a fan of that style mag release and even more so now that I've gotten to try it out. The trigger is amazing (I do like my agency just slightly more) all in all otb I like the HK more than glock (and I'm a glock fan boy kind of)
If I could think of one negative about the vp9, it would have to be the striker indicator on the back. And only because it's new to me so I noticed it would catch my attention every time I went to start aiming, but with a little time behind the gun even just some dry firing I could so that problem going away.
With all that being said it has made me start to want a P30 that much more, I still love my P-07 But the vp9 grip (thus subsequently the P30) is absolutely amazing.
But I still think my CZ will win out especially after I get all the Cajun trigger work done to it (sub $400 gun with about $225 parts, can't beat that at all)
