Like I said before, It's no more than a 250 dollar fine in the extremely low chance you do get caught. And in the off chance you do get caught for concealing it wrong or using it to defend your life, you can fight the ticket. Penal Law 400 says that your concealed carry license is valid throughout the state except in the City of NY.

Correct. You can carry in the Adirondacks (state forest) but not in a state park in the Adirondacks such as a state campground. But like others have said, concealed is concealed. No one is going to strip search you in a state park. Well, there was this girl one time when I was young.....

I don't like that as well. I used to into Durand-Eastman Park to take pictures but now it has gotten too many sketchy people. If I did go, I would want to carry but I can't!
