I have not made it out to a long range yet. My regular range (Nassau County Rifle & Pistol only goes to 25 yards but I did go and zero out, not that it matters at 25.) I have to find a place upstate or get out to Brookhaven range one of these days.

I have 2x 6.5 cm to sight in this summer if I can ever make it out.
My Glades Armory tactical bolt handle arrived today. Have to take some black plastidip to the cross hatch knob.

Take it easy.
If I was going to put a brake like that on a 6.5, I hope someone would let me know that that radical brake doesn't go with that short barreled rifle.
The concussion is going to be worse than it has to be and it just doesn't fit with the rest of the nice work you've done building it.
Check out some of these brakes.Some are self timing and I've used all of them with good results over the 30+ years I've been building rifles.

Can’t rush these things lol
I havent been there yet and I'm not sure how far it is for you but there is a place called Thurstons Shooting Range in Auburn NY. It cost 5 bucks a day and the range is 400yds long. Its about 1.25hrs from me and whenever my buddy and I get time we are going to make our way out there. 400yds is still a short range for a 6.5 creedmoor but it could get ya started on learning how to shoot it at distance.

Just watched a YouTube of a guy doing 11” 10 shot group with this at 1000 yards. That’s great for a cheap gun. I still don’t own a bolt gun!think I’d like one of these.

You have an excuse as long as you're working on buying pistols.
I got out to WV last week and got my scope dialed in. I was hitting steel gongs at 200 yards with ease.
With the break on it there was next to no recoil but it definitely is a concussion cone. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I may get a pair of spiked feet for my Magpul bipod though.
