First Skeet Outing

First of all, it was a Blast!

You guys were correct, Hit the Clays! (great tip!)

had a great Ref/judge(?), she helped out a lot.
15/25 and 18/25, but no Doubles, not even close!!

was using my only shotgun, a pump 12G.
damn thing got heavy, wood/28"

also saw an amazing Krieghoff ($39k) total custom gun including the owners Molded hand grip!

First time skeet shoot all i had with me was a 20ga single shot , full choke .. i got a few , missed alot , but had fun .. then the search came for a OU ..
2 mounts later found a Ithaca (SKB) for 700.00 .. both barrels skeet choke .. then i got my old moss 500AT fixed .. she kicked like a mule .. limbsaver pad , cut the stock down for fit .. cleaned up the action , killed a few burrs here n there .. added some lead in the stock to help recoil .. totally different gun to shoot now .. ( by the way .. it sat in the closet for 20 yrs here cuz it kicked like a MULE .) hated to shoot it .. now i love it .. .. 24/25 with it .. it can be done .. 2 yrs shootin skeet one 25/25 with the OU and the 24/25 with the pump .. i just go to have fun .. ..

Oh Also what loads were you shooting ? I started out with #9 1 1/8 oz loads , more pellets ... give u a little help ..

I'd never even seen a clay bird before in my life. With my $200 Pardner NEF Pump. STILL, my clay bird gun.

I did trap in the NAVY A school base .. loaner guns .. that was back in the low 1980's .. just started skeet 3 yrs ago ..
