I am leaving Sunday to head up to Oswego to fish. Anyone care to share the set up they use, and any tips? My wife's family goes every year and this is the first time I'll be going with them. Never fished for salmon before.

Around me float rods with heavyweighted floats with various sizes shot down the line and a single or double egg hook up works well. I’m no drift fisherman so I toss spoons or rapalas. One day I’ll learn to drift fish but most guys are righted lipped and don’t want to speak on what they do.
I think most good salmon fishermen sit in a run where the salmon constantly open and close their mouths and they “legally snag” them by snagging them in their mouth. I’ve heard this from multiple fishermen.

Since you'll be in my backyard, so to speak, best advice I can give is...if you're wading below the dam get your ass out of the water when the alarm sounds.
