Thanks. The genesee river can get ripping pretty good. That’s why I’m looking for a spot outside of the river and streams like that are hard for youngsters to fish. I’ve seen people fish from the bridge there but not sure you’re supposed to and it’s tough for a kid to yank in a walleye up a concrete wall.
That looks like a good option. Is that a slower moving creek like a canal or is it fast water? I’m assuming there’s bass and pike in there along with all panfish.
It can be slow moving or cranking. Just depends how much the lake owners bitch about high water. There is a lock at rt20a.
Yes this is where I planned to go but then my wife invited more people and not sure how possibly 10 people fishing there would work out. I’ve caught some walleye out of there and seen others doing the same driving by. This is my first choice since I know the water and it’s close. Bait shop right up the road too!! Thanks.
